From the “Ultimate Hustler” to the “Ultimate Novelist” journeys Deshawn Taylor. Kissed by the Devil is by far one
of my favorite reads since E. Lynn Harris’s, My Invisible Life. This novel is the true definition of a novel as it is filled with lust, lies, scandal and some of the best drama since “Waiting to Exhale.” Heidi “So High” is the reminisce of the cynical girl next door who’s jaded selfish ways comes back to leave her for dead. Besides being a great read Kissed by the Devil makes you think twice about decisions and roads you travel and most of all reminds you to “trust no one.”

Being that I am an avid reader I feel confident in saying that Deshawn Taylor’s skills far surpasses those of some
seasoned author’s as I picked this book up and could not stop reading until I reached the end. As a matter of fact, I can’t wait for the sequel. Therefore, I give Kissed by the Devil 5 stars.
